IRHC Executive Coffee Chats
Coffee Chats serve as a way to deepen the connection between General Assembly (GA), Hall Council Officers, and Executive Board (E-Board) members. This idea was initiated by a past VP of Recognition and Development, Ramya Griddaluri, to treat Hall Council members out to a cup of coffee or a little sweet treat to learn more about them, answer any questions they may have, or to help them learn more about the possibilities of student leadership in Residential Life!
Who should I schedule a Coffee Chat with?
Hall Council Members should schedule a coffee chat with their IRHC Executive counterpart. For example, if you are a Director of Advocacy, you should schedule a coffee chat with one of the VP(s) of Advocacy.
What should I expect on a “Coffee Chat”?
On a Coffee Chat you should expect a fun, casual conversation with an E-board member while they try to learn more about you and your interests. They’ll be asking you some questions about your interests, feedback, as well as your experience in IRHC and on hall council! Don’t be afraid to ask questions, that’s what we’re here for! Please note that each hall council executive is allotted a treat up to $7.
Schedule a Coffee Chat:
If the calendar doesn’t have times that work for you, please email the Executive(s) and they (or their co-VP) will try to find a time that works for both of you! If you have to cancel your chat, please do so at least a day in advance on the Google Calendar booking.
